Updated:EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The United Caring Services of Evansville is in need of a new air conditioner.
One of their units recently went out and they need help getting a new one.
Officials with the shelter tell us the H-VAC unit that went out cools the third floor.
They’ve had to replace all of their units recently.
This is the last one to be replaced.
“Anything that relates to heat and the cold, cool in the summertime makes a huge difference here for the people we serve. And for us as a staff because we don’t want people to be uncomfortable especially where they live.”
If you would like to help donate money for a new AC unit, you can do so on their Facebook page, or click here.
