UCS Partners with Southern Indiana Builders Association for Parade of Homes

May 14, 2015
The Southwestern Indiana Builders Association (SIBA) holds their annual Parade of Homes every year in June to feature new homes in the community. SIBA has generously offered to feature United Caring Services as a parade partner to highlight the needs of homeless individuals in the Evansville area. This popular event, scheduled for June 6 – 14, draws thousands of potential new home buyers and current homeowners who want to see the latest home design features offered by the builders. Along with new cabinet designs and beautiful interiors, Parade guests will also see a poster and other information about the six programs UCS offers.

“It takes a builder to build a home, but it takes a community to change the face of homelessness.”

“This message is important for all of us to keep in mind, because there are many good people in our community who are not able to find affordable housing. United Caring Services meets their needs with shelter, hot meals, showers, laundry and many other services,” says Andrea Gander, President-Elect of the UCS Board of Directors.
“We are grateful to SIBA for allowing us to participate in the Parade, and hope that visitors to the new homes will take time to learn about the programs and services offered at UCS,” she adds.

United Caring Services is a registered 501©3 agency operating since 1991 and located at 324 NW 6th Street near downtown Evansville.
